Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026
This policy is a template. Review it with counsel and confirm it matches what you actually collect before publishing.

This Privacy Policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we") collects, uses, and shares information when you use T&G Terminal (the "Service").

Information we collect

  • Account information. If you sign in (e.g., via Discord) or purchase a membership, we receive basic account details such as your Discord user ID and username, and an email address and billing status from our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Notification data. If you enable push notifications, we store the push subscription your browser provides so we can deliver alerts.
  • Your watchlist and preferences. Tickers you add and interface preferences are stored on your device (and, if you enable syncing, associated with your account).
  • Usage analytics. We log basic, cookieless first-party analytics: pages viewed, referring page, viewport width, and a random device identifier stored in your browser's local storage. This is aggregated and contains no name, email, or precise location, and is not used for cross-site advertising.
  • Technical data. Standard server and security logs (e.g., IP address, timestamps) generated by our hosting providers.

How we use information

  • To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • To authenticate members and manage access and billing.
  • To send notifications and alerts you request.
  • To understand aggregate usage and product performance.
  • To comply with law and enforce our Terms.

Cookies and local storage

We use first-party browser local storage for essential functions (e.g., your device identifier, watchlist, and preferences). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

Service providers we share with

We share limited information with providers that run the Service on our behalf, including [Supabase] (database and backend), [Netlify] (hosting), [Discord] (sign-in), [Whop / billing provider] (payments), and your browser's push service (notification delivery). These providers process data under their own terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it. Aggregated analytics may be kept indefinitely.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can clear local storage in your browser at any time, disable push notifications, and contact us to request access or deletion at [CONTACT EMAIL].

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

International users

The Service is operated from [JURISDICTION]. If you use it from elsewhere, you consent to processing your information there.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes take effect when posted, with an updated date above.
